Maryknoll School

The Project

In order to increase applications for the 2015-2016 academic year, Maryknoll School, Oahu’s largest coeducational Catholic school, wanted to give potential applicants an inside look at the Spartan community and appeal to millennial parents.

The Impact

MPM launched a comprehensive marketing campaign that highlighted the school’s various programs and directed parents and potential students to a targeted microsite. Of the more than 100 individuals who opted in, 25% applied to the school.

Digital and print ads led readers to a microsite that provided more information about the featured program and introduced them to Maryknoll’s culture through photos tagged with the campaign hashtag. An entry form encouraged parents to schedule a tour of Maryknoll’s campus, register for open house, or request more information, depending on the needs of the admission office.

Let's Start the Conversation

Maryknoll’s 2015 admission campaign is both an introduction and an invitation. Through engaging photos, inviting copy, and an in-depth look into the school’s standout programs, parents and potential students are invited to begin a conversation by taking a campus tour, connecting with an admission representative, or signing up for an open house. The #ThisIsMaryknoll hashtag gives a behind-the-scenes look into the organization’s classrooms, events, and after-school programs through Instagram photos posted by the principal, teachers, parents, and current students.
